My name is Whitney.  I love Jesus, my husband, my family, and friends. I am a 3rd grade teacher, who ironically, used to hate writing. It wasn’t until I experienced the loss of my dad that I realized that writing was my release. I decided to create this blog to continue my dad’s legacy of faith. It is my hope that this journey of grief that I am now on, will bring glory to our Father above through the stories I will share.

For those that don’t know, on August 1, 2017, my daddy died at 62. Although I am thankful to have had a wonderful father for 30 years, I am trying to make it day by day in this world without him. Follow me as I journey through grief with God, family, and friends by my side.
